James Taylor in Chapel Hill

Just a little observation here, the crowds at an Obama gathering, or in the volunteer offices, or even his family and Obama himself, I could just take them all home and put on the kettle for some tea and conversation. And I’m filled with a feeling of kindness when I look at these happy crowds, and I hope all goes well for each and every one of them, for the rest of their lives. (Why is it that the McCain crowds don’t do that for me? I would run as fast as I could AWAY from McCain and anyone connected to him.)

Watched Bill Moyers tonight. He was talking to a very inspiring man, Mark Johnson. Mark says “the only choice we have is to come together and to inspire each other because that’s the way we will create a better world for us now and for the kids tomorrow. And the other truth is… a lot of people live in a world of fear but we don’t even know how long we are going to be in this world so there’s really no reason to fear anything. The most important thing is while we are here let’s make a difference together…” You can watch the Bill Moyers interview and then the video “Stand By Me”. Just beautiful!
